Threaded Tee
The Threaded Tee has a T-shaped structure with three openings featuring internal threads, allowing threaded pipes to be screwed in easily without the need for welding. It is commonly used in small-diameter piping systems suitable for low-pressure applications and is available in a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys, conforming to standards such as ASME B16.11.
High Quality Threaded Tee We Can Supply
SSM produces Threaded Tees that are commonly used for branching connections in piping systems. They have three openings, with two aligned in a straight line and the third positioned at a 90-degree angle to them. Each opening features internal threading, allowing you to easily screw threaded pipes into the fitting. Below are the types we offer.

The Materials of Threaded Tee We Can Provide
SSM’s threaded tee are manufactured from controllable raw materials with strict quality control. We commonly supply fittings made from the following materials:
Carbon Steel Threaded Tee
SSM produces Carbon Steel Threaded Tees made of carbon steel, featuring a T-shaped structure with three internally threaded openings. The excellent strength and pressure resistance of carbon steel make these tees particularly suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature piping systems in industries such as oil, natural gas, chemical, and water supply.
Common Grades: ASTM A105, ASTM A350.
Stainless Steel Threaded Tee
SSM produces Stainless Steel Threaded Tees made from stainless steel, featuring a T-shaped structure with three internally threaded openings. The excellent corrosion resistance and strength of stainless steel make these tees particularly suitable for applications that require high corrosion resistance and high-temperature tolerance, such as in the chemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, and other industries with stringent corrosion requirements.
Common Grades: ASTM A182 F304/F304L , ASTM A182 F316/F316L
Alloy Steel Threaded Tee
SSM produces Alloy Steel Threaded Tees made from alloy steel, featuring a T-shaped structure with three internally threaded openings. These tees create branches in piping systems and allow you to screw threaded pipes directly into the fitting without welding. The alloy steel, which includes elements like chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, enhances strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. This makes these tees especially suitable for piping systems that require high strength and wear resistance, such as those used in high-pressure, high-temperature, or harsh environmental conditions.
Common Grades: ASTM A182 F11, ASTM A182 F22.
Nickel Alloy Threaded Tee
SSM produces Nickel Alloy Threaded Tees made from nickel alloy, featuring a T-shaped structure with three internally threaded openings. The nickel alloy provides excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and strength, making these tees especially suitable for harsh environments such as chemical processing, marine settings, and high-temperature applications. We use these tees in high-performance applications requiring resistance to corrosion and extreme temperatures.
Common Grades: Inconel 600, Inconel 625, Monel 400, Hastelloy C276.

Advantages & Disadvantages of Threaded Tee
Advantages
Easy Installation: Uses threaded connections, eliminating the need for welding, making installation and removal very convenient, saving time and cost.
Easy Maintenance: Can be easily disassembled and replaced, suitable for piping systems that require regular maintenance.
Cost-effective: For low-pressure, small-diameter pipelines, threaded connections are an economical and efficient option.
Versatility: Suitable for various fluid media, including gases, liquids, and steam.
Disadvantages
Pressure Limitations: Threaded fittings are generally suitable for low-pressure systems and may leak under high pressure.
Less Reliable Sealing: Threaded connections may not be as reliably sealed as welded or flanged connections, especially in high-temperature, high-pressure environments.
Corrosion Risk: The threaded parts are more prone to corrosion, especially in harsh chemical environments.
Size Limitations: Typically used for small-diameter pipelines and not suitable for large piping systems.
