What Is an EN 1092-1 Carbon Steel Flange?
An EN 1092-1 carbon steel flange is a European standard pipe flange manufactured in accordance with ID 1092-1, the primary flange standard used throughout Europe. These flanges are widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power generation, shipbuilding, and general industrial piping systems.
Unlike ASME B16.5 flanges, EN 1092-1 flanges are designated by PN pressure ratings (PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, etc.) and DN nominal sizes, making them the preferred choice for European engineering projects.
