FAQ
A forged flange is manufactured by shaping metal (carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel) under high pressure, creating superior strength and durability compared to cast flanges.
✔ Higher strength (30%+ stronger than cast flanges)
✔ Better fatigue resistance for high-pressure applications
✔ Tighter tolerances (per ASME/EN standards)
✔ No internal defects (porosity, cracks, or impurities)
Yes! We provide:
- Non-standard sizes (up to DN4000)
- Special face finishes (RTJ, FF, Grooved)
- Material certifications (MTC 3.1/3.2)
Standard flanges: 4–6 weeks
Custom orders: 8–12 weeks
The 150# pressure rating indicates that the flange can withstand a specific range of pressures, making it suitable for medium-pressure piping systems. The exact pressure range varies depending on the standards and dimensions.
