What Is an EN 1092-1 Carbon Steel Flange?

An EN 1092-1 carbon steel flange is a European standard pipe flange manufactured in accordance with EN 1092-1, the primary flange standard used throughout Europe. These flanges are widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power generation, shipbuilding, and general industrial piping systems.

Unlike ASME B16.5 flanges, EN 1092-1 flanges are designated by PN pressure ratings (PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, etc.) and DN nominal sizes, making them the preferred choice for European engineering projects.

1. P250GH (1.0460)

P250GH is the most widely used carbon steel flange material in Europe.
