ANSI Standard Flanges

High Quality ANSI Standard Flanges

SSM provides ANSI flanges with high-quality standards, reliable pressure-bearing capacity, a wide range of types, diverse materials, and strong versatility. These features meet the piping connection requirements in various industrial fields and ensure the long-term stable operation of systems.

Materials

ANSI flanges come in various material options, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and nickel alloys. The choice of material depends on the specific application and environmental factors.

Pressure Rating

ANSI flanges are available in multiple pressure ratings (e.g., 75#,150#, 300#, 400#,600#, 900#, 1500#, 2500#).

Flange Types

ANSI/ASME B16.5 Flange

ASME B16.5 defines the flange dimensions, materials, pressure ratings, and other requirements for piping connections. It is published by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and is widely used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical, power, and water treatment.

ANSI B16.5 Class 150 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for low-pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of typically 150 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for applications at ambient temperature up to approximately 100°C (depending on material).
Applications: Widely used in water pipelines, light industries, and general chemical engineering.

ANSI B16.5 Class 300 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for medium-pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of about 300 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for applications at ambient temperature up to approximately 100°C (depending on material).
Applications: Mainly used in medium-pressure piping systems in industries such as chemicals, oil, and gas.

ANSI B16.5 Class 600 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for higher pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of typically 600 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for applications at ambient temperature up to over 100°C (depending on material).
Applications: Commonly used in high-pressure liquid or gas piping connections, such as in petroleum refining and natural gas processing.

ANSI B16.5 Class 900 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for higher pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of 900 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure applications (depending on material).
Applications: Widely used in high-pressure piping systems, such as chemical reactors, oil drilling equipment, and industrial boilers.

ANSI B16.5 Class 1500 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for high-pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of 1500 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for extremely high-temperature and high-pressure working environments, typically used for high-temperature liquids or gases.
Applications: Primarily used in high-pressure oil, gas, and chemical systems, particularly in compressed gas and steam pipelines.

ANSI B16.5 Class 2500 Flanges

Working Pressure: Suitable for very high-pressure environments, with a maximum working pressure of 2500 psi.
Temperature Range: Suitable for extremely high temperatures and high pressures, capable of withstanding very harsh working conditions.
Applications: Widely used in extreme high-pressure environments, such as oil drilling, chemical processing, and steam boilers.

ANSI/ASME B16.47 Flange

ASME B16.47 primarily focuses on large diameter flanges, typically 24 inches and above. It covers the design, dimensions, pressure ratings, and manufacturing requirements for large-size flanges. This standard is divided into two parts:

ASME B16.47A: Applies to large diameter flanges, with a typical size range from 24″ to 60″.

ASME B16.47B: Based on the API 605 standard, it applies to even larger flange sizes, typically over 60″.  More about ASME B16.47 A VS B
